Welcome to Getting Started with Herbs! This six week course meets weekly and will cover basic terms an herbalist uses, harvesting techniques, herbal preparations made in the kitchen or home, twelve local herbs and their uses, and how to apply them. Each class will highlight two local herbs with a hands-on demonstration of making medicine with each. Take home recipes, information, and a sample of the herbal preparation made in class. Classes are held on every Friday from May 10, 2019 to June 21, 2019.
